Ragan, who has driven Roush’s fourth Sprint Cup car for the last five seasons already knew the car’s current sponsor, UPS, would be shifting its backing to an associate’s role with Carl Edwards next season. NASCAR defended its policy of fining drivers who make critical comments about the series on Friday. Brian France, NASCAR Chairman, says he saw no benefit in making the penalties public. When pushed about the penalties France explained the policy will be reconsidered. ”We’ll look at it over the offseason. If we need to change it, we’ll change it. Not a big deal.” Read more
MLB and the Players Association have agreed to a new labor deal. An announcement of the new Basic Agreement is expected to come on Tuesday. The current deal is set to expire on December. 11. Labor talks have been conducted behind the scenes since January.
Maybe the NBA should be taking some lessons from Major League Baseball and the NFL. If they had they could be playing right now instead of acting like school yard kids fighting over the ball. I prefer college basketball anyway!

Batman (1989) is one of a few movies that I have allowed my self to own as a DVD and again when it came out on Blu-Ray. When Batman came out in theaters in 1989 I was in my very late teens. I have always enjoyed this movie from the first time I watched it and every other time since.
Granted it may not have the added benefits of todays special effects and yes it may not compare to recent movies of Batman from Chris Nolan, but on its own I feel it does very well. Read more
