20th Century Fox has set the official release date for X-Men: Apocalypse’s upcoming release to home video.
X-Men: Apocalypse will arrive on Digital HD on September 9 followed by a release on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD just shy of a month later on October 4.
Special features on the Blu-ray will include deleted and extended scenes with optional introductions from director Bryan Singer, gag reel, wrap party video, audio commentary by Singer and screenwriter/producer Simon Kinberg, an extensive behind-the-scenes documentary plus an exclusive photo gallery.
X-Men: Apocalypse has not had the success that “Days of the Future Past” showed at the box office, but that being said it hasn’t done bad either. Earning $533 million world wide which makes “Apocalypse” the third highest grossing X-Men movie of all-time and currently sits as the eighth highest grossing movie for 2016.
