Sony Pictures and MGM have released a brand new trailer for The Magnificent Seven a western remake that stars Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt.
The Magnificent Seven based on the look and feel of this latest trailer could very easily be a box office hit as Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt show some wonderful chemistry.
As with the original this adaptation of The Magnificent Seven is set in the town of Rose Creek, under the control of Bartholomew Bogue. In there desperation they ask outlaw Sam Chisolm for help and he begins to assemble an assorted group of hired guns to help. They soon find themselves outnumbered, as they prepare for the showdown to come.
This version of The Magnificent Seven is a remake of the 1960 western film of the same name, which is actually a remake of a 1954 Japanese movie that was entitled simply “Seven Samurai”.
As good as this 2016 version may look and despite the terrific cast that has been assembled for the movie I’m still not a huge fan of Hollywood and all the remakes/reboots they seem to be in favor of.
The Magnificent Seven rides into theaters September 23rd.
