The first weekend of the NFL Playoff’s were playing this weekend and all four wildcard teams coming into this weekends games were all sent home.

AFC Wildcard:

Texans RB Arian Foster 153 rush yards, 2 TD, WR Andre Johnson 90 yards, TD

Rookie defensive end J.J. Watt returned an interception for a touchdown, and Andre Johnson and Arian Foster put the game away with second-half scores.

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger passed for 289 yds, TD, INT

Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas game-winning 80-yd TD catch on 1st play of OT; had 204 yds on 4 catches
Broncos QB Tim Tebow completed 10-of-21 passes for 316 yds, 2 TD rushed for 50 yds, TD

Tebow connected with Demaryius Thomas on an electrifying 80-yard touchdown pass on the first play of overtime, and the Broncos defeated the stunned Steelers 29-23 in the AFC wild-card playoff game Sunday.

The play took 11 seconds and was the quickest ending to an overtime in NFL history.

Saints QB Drew Brees 466 passing yards, 3 TD
Lions QB Matthew Stafford 380 passing yards, 3 TD

Drew Brees threw for 466 yards and three touchdowns, and the New Orleans Saints poured it on in the second half. Brees hit on 33 of 43 passes while throwing for the most yards in a regulation playoff game. He highlighted his night with three completions of at least 40 yards.

Giants WR Hakeem Nicks caught 6 passes for 115 yards and 2 TD

Manning connected with Hakeem Nicks for a 72-yard score and Mario Manningham on a 27-yarder. Manning also threw a 4-yard TD pass to Nicks in the first half, which came after the quarterback scrambled 14 yards to spark the 85-yard drive.
