Bryan Singer the director of the up coming movie X-Men: Days of Future Past dropped a major hint as to what maybe coming to the movie theaters in 2016.
Singer who is returning to the X-Men franchise as a director for the first time since X-Men 2 tweeted what will obviously be the next step in the franchise.
#Xmen #Apocalypse 2016!

In 1995 the comics began running a story line “The Age of Apocalypse”. It saw Professor Xavier murdered before he could form the X-Men. Instead, a very different take on the team began with Magneto leading them through a post-apocalyptic America ruled by mutants. All set in a parallel reality formed by interference to the timeline.
X-Men: Days of Future Past involves a time travel storyline, get the idea where this maybe headed? Its possible the end of “Days of Future Past” could be setting up the next movie we see our favorite mutants in.
X-Men: Days of Future Past, comes to the big screen May 23, 2014.
20th Century Fox has given X-Men: Apocalypse a May 27, 2016 release date.
