Adam West’s 1960’s Batman will team up with Lynda Carter’s 1970’s Wonder Woman in a new comic book series.
The colorful 1960s Adam West version of the Caped Crusader will be teaming up with the 1970s rendition of Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman in a new comic book series.
DC Comics announced on Friday at New York Comic Con that “`Batman ’66 Meets Wonder Woman ’77” will unite the two characters from the “Batman” TV show with the “Wonder Woman” TV series for the very first time.
“Batman `66” writer Jeff Parker says “It really feels like Lynda Carter and Adam West are going into action again, this time together.”
“Wonder Woman `77” writer Marc Andreyko says the crossover series will “Span 30 years as these two legendary superheroes fight an ancient evil across the decades.”
The 12-chapter comic book series will launch on November 23, 2016.
