Jeff the Bellboy

Three couples got married and spent their honeymoons at the same hotel, where they were all attended to by Jeff the Bellboy.

The first man married a nurse.

Jeff showed them to their room, all the while thinking to himself, “Lucky guy! Nurses are known to be hot to trot.”

The second man married a telephone operator.

Jeff showed them to their room, while thinking to himself, “Wow, he’s one lucky dude. Telephone operators have such sexy voices and once you pop that top button.. Va-voom.”

The third man married a school teacher. Read more »

Dark Knight Rises

Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ “The Dark Knight Rises” is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The trailer doesn’t come right out and say it to see that Bruce Wayne walks with a cane. It’s hard to imagine Nolan choosing to use Bane as the main villain and neglecting to make reference to the act he’s most famous for, breaking Batman’s back. It could signal some manifestation of the moment from “Knightfall.” Read more »

A Parents Night Before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house
I searched for the tools to hand to my spouse.
Instructions were studied and we were inspired,
In hopes we could manage “Some Assembly Required.”

The children were quiet (not asleep) in their beds,
While Dad and I faced the evening with dread:
A kitchen, two bikes, Barbie’s town house to boot!
And, thanks to Grandpa, a train with a toot! Read more »

In Men in Black 3, Agents J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back… in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. Battleship May 2012

I’ve posted some stills from the movie Battleship coming to theaters in May of 2012. Looks like there will be some nice special effects, but not sure how well or good the storyline will be. Will have to wait for the movie to come out to find that out. It’s from Hasbro and they be trying to capitalize on the success of Transformers. Read more »

Electric Train

A few days after Christmas, a mother was working in the kitchen listening to her young son playing with his new electric train in the living room. She heard the train stop and her son said, “All of you sons of bitches who want off, get the hell off now, cause this is the last stop! And all of you sons of bitches who are getting on, get your asses in the train, cause we’re going down the tracks.” Read more »

Kurt Busch

Kurt Busch out at Penske Racing

On Monday both Kurt Busch and Roger Penske agreed to part ways after six seasons. Both Busch and Penske came to the realization the organization was not the best fit for either side.

In a statement Roger Penske said. “I appreciate the victories that Kurt has brought Penske Racing and our sponsors over the past six years. While I am disappointed that Kurt will not be racing for our team in the future, both Kurt and I felt that separating at this time was best for all parties, including our team and sponsors. I wish Kurt the best in his future racing endeavors.” Read more »
