Indiana Jones Posters

We first meet Indiana Jones back in 1981 in “Raiders of the Lost Ark”. A fictional archaeologist who’s real name is Dr. Henry Jones Jr., but prefers to be called “Indy”.

After Raiders we got to see the exploits of Indy in the prequel “Temple of Doom” (1984) and two sequels “Last Crusade” (1989) and “The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”(2008). Indiana Jones character was created by George Lucas and brought to life on the big screen by legendary actor Harrison Ford and director Steven Spielberg.

For me personally the “Indiana Jones” films ranks in my top five movie franchises of all time. I was still a couple of years away from being a teenager when the first film came to the theaters. With the exception of “Raiders of the Lost Ark” I was lucky enough to see the remaining three in theaters during there original theatrical runs. I eventually shelled out the money to go see “Raiders of the Lost Ark” at a I-Max theater in September of 2012 during its limited release, felt like a kid again for those two hours.

Below are different posters from all four films. A few of the posters are obvious fan created, but i liked them well enough I decided to include them in this posting. I could of written a lot more about Indiana Jones, but as I plan on doing individual posts on each of the films in the future why waste good material all at once.
