Marvel studios announced that they have cast a three-time Emmy winner as the villain Ultron in Joss Whedon‘s The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
James Spader, who has starred in movies and several television series, including the new series “The Blacklist” set to premier this fall will be taking on Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and the Hulk on the big screen in 2015.
It is not known yet if the roll of Ultron will require Spader to just provide his voice, motion capture or any actual live scenes since Ultron is a humanoid robot.
Spader earned three Emmy Awards for his role as Alan Shore on “Boston Legal” and “The Practice”.
