We now know the title to the fourth Transformers movie due out June 27th of 2014, Transformers: Age of Extinction.
A Chinese actress Bingbing Li also staring in the movie said in an interview.
“I can not disclose the specifics, but you can be sure that the arrival of the Dinobots will give the audience a lot to be excited about. The world’s coolest, most exciting cars will appear in the film, including Chinese vehicles, so whether you are a car enthusiast or not, it will be a feast for the eyes.”
With that statement and a leaked call sheet to the internet, it looks as if the Dinobots will be making there big screen debut next summer and seems like the next logical step in the franchise.
The Dinobots are a group of Transformers, part of the Autobot faction. They are generally depicted as powerful Autobots capable of sustaining heavy damage and wielding heavy firepower against their foes. They are the only known Autobot group capable of flight in robot mode, a trait they share with the Decepticons. They are always portrayed as fiercely independent, and are prone to diverge from the main group of Autobots to pursue their own agenda.
- Grimlock – The team leader, transforms into a Tyrannosaurus rex.
- Slag – The second-in-command, transforms into a Triceratops.
- Sludge – Transforms into an Apatosaurus.
- Snarl – Transforms into a Stegosaurus.
- Swoop – Transforms into a Pteranodon.
Plot details for “Transformers: Age of Extinction” are being kept a secret. Mark Wahlberg takes over as the lead human as Shia LaBeouf will not be returning.
