According to the internet grape vine “Game of Thrones” actor Jason Momoa has been signed to play Aquaman in Warner Brothers “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice”.
Momoa who played Khal Drogo in the first season of “Game of Thrones” also starred in 2011’s remake of “Conan the Barbarian”.
Aquaman is rumored to be yet another super-hero who is not pleased with Superman after what happened during the events of Man of Steel. Most likely due to Zod’s world engine damaged the Indian Ocean. I’m guessing the destruction prompts Aquaman to come to the surface seeking answers or possible retribution, but will have to get in line behind Batman.
With Momoa being cast, Aquaman’s appearance will only add to any anticipated hype for a “Justice League” movie that will supposedly film immediately after Batman v Superman.
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice scheduled to be released May 6, 2016.
Starring; Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, plus Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons as Alfred and Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane will reprise their roles from “Man of Steel”.
Zack Snyder is directing from a script written by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer.
Remember no official word has come from Warner Brothers, yet!
