Marvel continues to announce new release dates for yet untitled movies and giving us a look at some posters that will be available to those fans that will be attending Comic-Con this week, among other news.
Disney and Marvel have now planted both feet firmly in the ground with the announcement of a total six new release dates for yet unknown titles over the past week to go along with the ones we already knew about.
The recent announcements by Marvel are in advanced of Warner Brothers and DC Entertainment, who have yet made official their reported slate of upcoming films. Currently the only official upcoming film is Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and its set to hit theaters on the same weekend as Captain America 3.
Two of the dates listed below are rumored to possibly be Doctor Strange on July 8, 2016 date and The Avengers 3 on May 3, 2019, but Marvel has not confirmed these two movies for these dates so take it for what it is.
Here’s the updated list of confirmed upcoming Marvel Studios release dates:
May 1, 2015 – The Avengers: Age of Ultron
July 17, 2015 – Ant-Man
May 6, 2016 – Captain America 3 (Untitled)
July 8, 2016 – Unannounced
May 5, 2017 – Unannounced
July 28, 2017 – Unannounced
November 3, 2017 – Unannounced
May 4, 2019 – Unannounced
July 6, 2018 – Unannounced
November 2, 2018 – Unannounced
May 3, 2019 – Unannounced
Marvel has also released a poster for Ant-Man that can be purchased if your attending Comic-Con. Giving everyone a clear look at what would presumably be the main costume the movie stars Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas. I’m hoping Marvel will show us the original Ant-Man, Dr. Henry Pym (Douglas), in some action of his own before the suit is passed to Rudd’s character of Scott Lang.
