Star Wars: Dark Disciple
Star Wars: Dark Disciple is a new novel that was announced this past summer at Comic-Con in San Diego and will be hitting a bookstore near you in 2015.
Being written by author Christie Golden, Dark Disciple will be based on un-produced scripts written for Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series prior to the show being cancelled.
Dark Disciple’s story will focus on two main characters of ex-Sith bounty hunter, Asajj Ventress, and the unorthodox Jedi Quinlan Vos; this new tale of love and loss, betrayal and redemption is being overseen in collaboration with the Lucasfilm Story Group and Dave Filoni the supervising director of The Clone Wars.
“Ventress had become one of the most interesting characters… we had all this material, we had all these designs… This is based on scripts we had written with George Lucas… I’m super excited about this book.” Said Filoni about Dark Disciple.
The novel will skew more towards the adult reader when it hits shelves on July 7, 2015.
