“Empire” magazine had their readers vote on what they thought were the greatest superhero movies of all time and the result of that vote may have you in total disagreement.
I’m a pretty big movie fan especially when it comes to the superhero movies; it’s one of the reasons why I started Reggie’s Take four years ago.
Almost everyone who buys a movie ticket has an opinion when it comes to what they like in a movie and whether or not it’s good or bad and for the most part I try and respect their opinions, but that doesn’t mean I have to agree with it.
Empire magazine had their readers vote on what they thought were the greatest superhero movies of all time. Empire posted the results of that vote on line at Empireonline.com. The on-line article doesn’t give you specifics of how the vote was conducted like if every superhero movie ever made was eligible to be voted for or if Empire magazine had a list that you had to vote from.
For the purpose of this article I’m going to go on the assumption that every superhero movie ever filmed and produced by Hollywood was eligible for their readers to choose from. Empire posted the results of the vote, listing the top 30 in descending order.
After looking at the results of the vote for my self I came to the conclusion that I do not agree with the final out come what so ever. I did however agree with the movie that was voted #1, but after that I have issues. I don’t plan on going into detail or issuing my own top 30 at this time, but will let you decide for yourself.

Wouldn’t be my list. But then, does it matter? We all have different tastes, but I guess we can mostly agree on which are the better movies, and which are the important movies, and which ones are a pos. Nobody will ever put Howard the Duck on the top of his list, and no one will ever put The Dark Knight at the bottom.
