Star Wars – Empire Magazine Covers

This will be a day long remembered by the empire…not that empire, Empire magazine newest issue will feature six visually eye catching covers that any Star Wars fan will want to have.

Although Lucasfilm and Disney are only releasing three trailers for “The Force Awakens” the push in television advertising and magazine covers seems to be in high gear with only weeks left before it’s released world wide.

The covers feature Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma, Rey (Daisy Ridley) and BB-8, Finn (John Boyega), Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), and Han Solo (Harrison Ford) with his trusty co-pilot Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew).

Han and Chewie are the only original trilogy characters to get a cover, which shouldn’t be much of a surprise considering that Harrison Ford (Solo) is identified as one of the movie’s lead roles in the film. If you are a subscriber how ever you will get a cover not found on newsstands with C-3PO and R2-D2.

This batch of covers continue the theme Lucasfilm and Disney have been pushing from the start in their advertising that “The Force Awakens” is all about the new characters than reliving glorious memories from the past with the original cast.
