Tarzan has been away from the jungle for some time attempting to live a “normal” life with his wife Jane in England, only to be pulled into a deadly plot.
The film begins years after the man once known as Tarzan has left the jungles of Africa behind for a life as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke with his beloved wife, Jane at his side.
Warner Brothers after suffering losses from Jupiter Ascending earlier in 2015 and an epic fail with “Pan” that could cost the studio a possible $150 million will be hoping that “The Legend of Tarzan” $180 million budget wont be leaving them hanging from the vines.
The cast for this film is by no means lacking in star power. In addition to Alexander Skarsgard (Tarzan) and Margot Robbie (Jane), Legend of Tarzan will also includes Christoph Waltz as the main antagonist, as well as John Hurt, Djimon Hounsou, and Samuel L. Jackson. Jackson will play American Civil War veteran George Washington Williams a real-life historical character, who will join Tarzan to fight against Captain Leon Rom (Waltz).
