Star Wars Celebration Europe began Friday and during the Rogue One panel a making of featurette giving the fans in attendance and later on-line an inside look at the film.
The Star Wars movie franchise if you were to look at it as a whole up through “The Force Awakens” would be known best for its space battles, star destroyers, death stars and light-sabers and some how with what little footage we’ve been allowed to see for Rogue One it looks to give us something very different, but still maintain something familiar that we’ve become to know and love from the galaxy far, far, away.
From the look of the celebration reel, fans will have every reason to assume that Rogue One will be another hit in the Star Wars Franchise as well as a successful first step for the Star Wars anthology movies that will hopefully build excitement for the next standalone film in Han Solo.
A new trailer for Rogue One was shown to those in attendance, but no word on how soon the rest of the world will get to lay their eyes on it. What was revealed to those who were lucky enough to see the trailer is the return of Darth Vader.
This new trailer gives us more the sound of Vader’s breathing that eventually pans to show Vader’s reflection on the floor, its not exactly what some might be hoping for, but should be enough to satisfy the biggest Star Wars fan.
Rogue One is set before the events of A New Hope revolving around a group of rebel soldiers attempting to steal the Death Star plans.
