On Thursday 20th Century Fox released the first trailer for “Logan” as Hugh Jackman reprise his role as Logan a.k.a Wolverine for the last time in one of the best trailers in a long time.
When “Logan” comes to theaters in March of 2017 both Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart will take one last curtain call in their iconic roles with in the X-Men franchise.
What makes the biggest impact with this first trailer is the song “Hurt” by Johnny Cash being played through out that makes the trailer so powerful and gives it a somber tone that you would almost expect knowing the films story line is inspired by the “Old Man Logan” comic.
The second item, at least for me, that makes this trailer so wonderful is how much they make you feel for both Jackman and Stewart’s characters with out giving away any major details or spoilers for the movie.
If your a fan of these two characters or just X-Men in general then your fully aware that this movie is technically a super hero movie, but if you were to watch this trailer and have no knowledge of the previous movies that came before Logan you wouldn’t in the least suspect such.
Logan claws its way into theaters on March 3, 2017 here in the U.S.
Cast: Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart (reprising his role of Professor Charles Xavier), Stephen Merchant, Richard E. Grant, Elizabeth Rodriguez, and Dafne Keen.
