Universal announced this morning that the first full-length trailer for the rebooted Mummy movie will debut this coming Sunday with the release of a fifteen second teaser video.
When Universal releases their new “Mummy” movie this coming summer it is with hopes of it kicking off a larger shared monster movie franchise.
This time around it’s Tom Cruise leading the fight to stop the Mummy being played by Sofia Boutella (Star Trek Beyond). The 2017 version aims to be a scary action/adventure, more so than the 1999 reboot that starred Brendan Frasier which was closer in tone to the original 1932 Mummy film starring Boris Karloff.
