New Alien: Covenant Trailer

I’m not a horror fan when it comes to movies as it’s never been my cup of tea, but I do make an exception for the Alien franchise as 20th Century Fox released a new trailer on Tuesday.

The colony ship Covenant discovers an uncharted paradise that soon becomes a living nightmare. The second full trailer for Ridley Scott’s follow up to Prometheus reinforces Scott wanting to take the franchise back to its roots, but with the added touch of it being set in forest.

A lot of fans felt that Prometheus didn’t fit with in the Alien franchise, where as Covenant leaves no doubt what world your walking into, but at the same time you wonder how Scott will begin to connect everything back to his original Alien film from 1979.

I was excited for this movie after the first trailer and remain just as excited after seeing this latest trailer. Covenant looks amazing so far, but the movie it self will still need to answer some lingering questions from Prometheus.

The pay off for this trailer is that we finally get a good look at the “neomorph.”
