Director Rian Johnson‘s follow-up to Star Wars: The Force Awakens was finally revealed as part of the Last Jedi panel at Star Wars Celebration along with a super cool poster that has a bit of a throw back look to it.
The rumors of this first trailer being a full length trailer were obviously not true. The first look that Lucasfilm has given us is very much a teaser that runs two minutes in length with a lot of cool looking scenes with no substances to them. Personally I’m absolutely okay with this as I’m not looking to know the whole story first trailer.
The biggest reveal in the trailer came from a dark and shadowy Luke Skywalker standing at an entrance of a cave uttering the words “It’s time for the Jedi to end.”
What does Luke mean? Will the Jedi come to an end at the conclusion of episode nine or is his comment in the teaser out of context? Intresting questions everyone will be wondering.
Cast: John Boyega (Finn), Daisy Ridley (Rey), Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata), Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma), Dohmnall Gleeson (General Hux), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), the late Carrie Fisher (General Leia), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Andy Serkis (Snoke), Benicio Del Toro and Laura Dern
