If you are looking forward to Blade Runner 2049 and the release date just can’t get here fast enough then you may want to check out this new short that focuses on the backstory of Dave Bautista’s Sapper Mortan.
“2048 Nowhere to Run” features Dave Bautista as Sapper Mortan who is a replicant on the run and struggling to survive in the year 2048. The featurette was directed by Luke Scott and is actually the second of three such short films. The first was titled “2036 Nexus Dawn” that featured Jared Leto as “Niander Wallace” who’s the blind villain of the upcoming movie.
“2048 Nowhere to Run” gives Bautista a chance to show his skills as an actor and not just be the muscle or a comic relief, but don’t worry you do get see Bautista doing what he does best when it comes to being a muscle.
Warner Brothers has also released new international posters featuring principal cast of heroes and villains for blade Runner 2049 that you can check out below.
