Star Wars: A New Hope, Vader – Kenobi Fight Re-imagined

Do you remember the lightsaber duel in A New Hope between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader? Of course you do. Some visual effects artist have reimagined how that fight might look like.

When you watch a newer Star Wars movie the one thing that stands out when you compare the original trilogy to the newer movies (including the prequels) is how well done the lightsaber fights look.

Some artist at FXitinPost posted a video on what the Kenobi, Vader duel might look like if that scene on the Death Star was filmed to look like the more recent duels we have become accustom to. Even if your not a fan of the prequels you can’t deny that the lightsaber duels at the end of The Phantom Menace and Revenge of the Sith didn’t look awesome when you first watched them in theaters.

The video itself is only: 46 seconds, but what they created is “most impressive” even to this life long Star Wars fan. Watch it and see what you think.
