Incredibles 2 Teaser Trailer

After nearly 14 years of waiting we will finally get a sequel to The Incredibles and on Wednesday night the first teaser trailer was released for Incredibles 2.

The first full teaser trailer for Incredibles 2 shows that the movie will center on Elastigirl while Mr. Incredible is left at home to take care of the kids. Although this new trailer doesn’t give away the actual plot of the movie or who the actual villain will be, it did remind us what is that made us fall in love with this family from the first movie.

Much like the first movie the sequel looks to be at its core all about the family and having Bob (Mr. Incredible) stay behind will have him solving problems that can’t be beaten by super-human strength. The best line in this new trailer that I feel sums up what this movie will be about when all is done is when Mr. Incredible says, “I need to succeed so she can succeed so we can succeed!”

Reggie’s Take:
I cannot tell you how long I have waited for this movie to be made. Even though it’s only been 14 years, it seems longer. Since 2004 when the first Incredibles movie hit theaters we have gotten three Cars movies, how and why I can’t answer, but I’m just so great full that the wait ends in June.

If I were to ever rank the Pixar films, The Incredibles would be in my top three for sure. Would they be number one? I’m not sure, as there are a couple other Pixar movies that I would have to give strong consideration to.

Cast: voices of Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell, Huck Milner, Samuel L. Jackson, Bob Odenkirk, Catherine Keener, Jonathan Banks, Sophia Bush, Isabella Rossellini

Official Synopsis for Incredibles 2:
Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.

  1. I’m really excited for this! My family and I love this movie! I’m sure I’ll feel a sense of nostalgia when I see it. Also, I like you how write your post, then you split it and give the information and then your “take” on it afterwards.
