‘Aquaman’ Trailer

The ruler of Atlantis, Aquaman, finally had its first trailer premier on Saturday during Warner Brothers Hall-H panel at Comic-Con.

Director James Wan had the daunting task in bringing Aquaman’s world to life in a way that wouldn’t look ridiculous or silly and still look believable and by the looks of this first trailer he’s done a wonderful job.

All of the character designs are full of life, not to mention bursting with color, something you wouldn’t expect for a movie that will see a good part of it take place under water the opposite of Zack Snyder’s grim color palette.

As much as I’m okay with Ben Affleck as “Batman”, Henry Cavill as “Superman” and Gal Gadot as “Wonder Woman”, Jason Momoa as “Aquaman” is probably my favorite. Momoa has the look of a badass superhero with the wit and charm that makes him fun to watch. When it came to the Justice League movie he was one of my favorite parts.
