Five new character posters have been released for the upcoming Disney Plus series The Mandalorian, now just over two weeks from it’s premier.
The Mandalorian is set beyond the reaches of the New Republic and takes place five years after the events of Return of the Jedi following the adventures of a bounty hunter. The first live action Star Wars series with new characters and new settings that won’t be connected to the Skywalker Saga, or so we assume.
The new character posters features Pedro Pascal as the title character that is being described as a lone gunfighter and bounty hunter with questionable moral character. Gina Carao as Cara Dune, a former Rebel Shock Trooper who fought for the Rebel Alliance and is now working as a mercenary.
Carl Weathers plays Moff Gideon, a former Empire Governor who went through a life-changing event after the second Death Star was destroyed. The last two character posters is a droid named IG-11 voiced by Taika Waititi and a creature that I’m not sure as to who he is or what his role be.
The Disney Plus streaming service and Star Wars: The Mandalorian both debut on November 12th.
