Marvel Studios released the first trailer for Black Widow, the long awaited prequel starring Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff.
Scarlett Johansson returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in her own movie as Black Widow, aka Natasha Romanoff. Joining Johansson on screen is Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, a character who adopts the Black Widow title in the comics, David Harbour as Alexei aka The Red Guardian and Rachel Weisz who is also a Black Widow, but one who has been for some time.
The teaser for Black Widow looked really solid and as always Marvel gave us very little as to what the plot of what Black Widow might be. Black Widow should be Scarlett Johansson’s last ride giving fans a chance to say goodbye to her properly, especially since we know what her fate is assuming you’ve watched Avengers: Endgame. You have right?
Marvel hasn’t said exactly where the Black Widow movie falls with in the MCU, but it has been rumored to take place after the events of Captain America: Civil War. Obviously you should take that with a few grains of salt, as we will have to wait and find out when the movie is released to theaters in May.
Check out the trailer below. Black Widow hits theaters on May 1, 2020.
