Lucasfilm and Disney released a new trailer for the upcoming final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars that will bring the animated series to a thrilling conclusion.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars debuted in August of 2008 and is set during the three years between Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. The Clone Wars ended it’s initial run in 2013 after five seasons with no real finale. An abridged sixth season, dubbed The Lost Missions, was released in early 2014 on Netflix in the U.S..
A seventh season is set to debut on Disney Plus in just under a month on February 21st with twelve all-new episodes that will finally bring the animated series to a proper conclusion all while leading into the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.
Cast: Matt Lanter as Anakin Skywalker, Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano, Dee Bradley Baker as Captain Rex and the clone troopers, James Arnold Taylor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan, and Sam Witwer as Maul.

One of the most critically-acclaimed entries in the Star Wars saga will be returning for its epic conclusion with twelve all-new episodes on Disney+ beginning Friday, February 21. From Dave Filoni, director and executive producer of “The Mandalorian,” the new Clone Wars episodes will continue the storylines introduced in the original series, exploring the events leading up to Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.
