Luca – Teaser Reveals Pixar’s Gorgeous Sea Monster Adventure

Disney and Pixar released the first teaser trailer for their newest animated movie Luca, a tale set on the Italian Riviera.

Luca and Alberto are two boys in Italy who are looking for a summer filled with adventure all while keeping a secret of who they really are. Luca and Alberto are sea monsters from another world when in water, but take on human form when on land.

The teaser trailer for Luca is barley ninety seconds in length, but reveals a rich and beautiful setting of the Riviera in magnificent texture and detail.

Voice Cast: Jacob Tremblay, Jack Dylan Grazer, Emma Berman, Maya Rudolph, Jim Gaffigan, Saverio Raimondo, Marco Barricelli

Luca will be released to theaters on June 18, 2021.

Set in a beautiful seaside town on the Italian Riviera, Disney and Pixar’s original feature film “Luca” is a coming-of-age story about one young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer filled with gelato, pasta and endless scooter rides. Luca shares these adventures with his newfound best friend, but all the fun is threatened by a deeply-held secret: they are sea monsters from another world just below the water’s surface.
