Star Trek: The Khitomer Conflict

Star Trek #25 from IDW publishing has begun a four part series that picks up not long after the events of “Into Darkness” with the Enterprise caught in the middle.

The Enterprise embarks on its new five-year mission. The remnants of Starfleet’s black-ops division Section 31 have been laying the groundwork for a war between the Romulan and Klingon Empires. Hoping the conflict between the two will tip the balance of power in the galaxy in the Federation’s favor.

The story line looks very interesting, especially since the story is being overseen by Star Trek writer and producer Roberto Orci.
