Star Wars Movies Coming To Digital

Hokey religions and ancient VCR’s are no match for a good Tablet at your side, might be what your hearing as all six Star Wars movies are going digital for the first time.

Walt Disney Studios, Lucasfilm Ltd., and 20th Century Fox announced on Monday the upcoming release of The Star Wars Digital Movie Collection. All six films from the galaxy far, far away, from The Phantom Menace to Return of the Jedi, will be available on Digital HD globally beginning Friday, April 10.

You will be able to buy as a collection or individually at all leading digital retailers, including iTunes, Google Play, VUDU, Amazon, Xbox Video, PlayStation Store, and Verizon Fios.

As a side note the Digital HD versions of the films will be the versions that were included on the Blu-rays, so if you were hoping for George Lucas’ original versions you might be slightly disappointed.
