Kung Fu Panda 3 – First Trailer Revealed

by Reggie's Take

DreamWorks Animation has released the first trailer to the third installment for one of the most loved and successful animation franchises of all time.

First thing first, this first trailer for Kung Fu Panda 3 really doesn’t give away or reveal much if any of the movies actual plot, more to wet your appetite then anything. Kung Fu Panda 3 finds Po (Jack Black) coming across his father Li (Bryan Cranston), who reveals to him the existence of a community of pandas living in secret.

DreamWorks has been going through some significant changes as the studio had made the decision to only release one quality movie a year and abandon its practice of releasing two or three films a year. Kung Fu Panda 3 will be the first movie the studio has released since making that policy change.

With DreamWorks changes, Kung Fu Panda 3 has been shuffled around a bit as well. Initially set to open and then was pushed back to Christmas of 2015 only to be moved once again due to a small film expected to due huge numbers, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The Kung Fu Panda series is one of my favorite animation franchises out their even though personally I don’t care much for Jack Black as an actor, but I do like him in the roll of Po.

Kung Fu Panda 3 Opens January 29, 2016
