Filming on Warner Brothers/DC’s Wonder Woman movie got under way just over a week ago and images from the set have already began appear.
With Principal photography underway on one of Warner Brother’s DCEU anticipated movies set images have now sprung up and the images seem to confirm that at least part of the Wonder Woman movie will take place during or shortly there after World War One.
British propaganda poster with the words “Your King and country need you, enlist now” were seen on set, these posters were used between 1914-1918, Also the sign in one of the images below with the words “French money exchanged” also suggest the troops are returning from France.
Gadot can be seen as Wonder Woman in March when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters. Chris Pine who’s playing Steve Trevor, Wonder Woman’s love interest recently finished filming on the third rebooted Star Trek movie do out in July of 2016.
If the images below are set during the time of WW1 then it’s highly unlikely we will see Chris Pine as “Trevor” past this movie. Although it is Hollywood so anything is possible.
Starring: Gal Gadot as ‘Diana Prince/Wonder Woman’, Chris Pine as ‘Captain Steve Trevor’, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya and Lucy Davis
Director: by Patty Jenkins
Wonder Woman will hit theaters on June 23, 2017.
