Paramount has released a full trailer for their upcoming movie “Arrival” about a linguist for the military who’s trying to determine the intentions of aliens who’ve landed here on Earth.
Starring Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Forest Whitaker, “Arrival” is based on a short story entitled “Story of Your Life” written by Ted Chiang.
Amy Adams plays “Louise Banks” an expert linguist who is recruited by the military to decipher and alien language to help establish a dialogue before the major world’s governments spiral out of control into all out war all due to fear and mistrust.
Arrival will make its world premiere during the Venice Film Festival on September 1st and then later at the Toronto International Film Festival before being released to theaters on November 11, 2016.

Arrival: Official Synopsis
When mysterious spacecraft touch down across the globe, an elite team – lead by expert linguist Louise Banks (Amy Adams) – are brought together to investigate. As mankind teeters on the verge of global war, Banks and the team race against time for answers – and to find them, she will take a chance that could threaten her life, and quite possibly humanity.
The bonus trailer below reveals quite a bit more from the time just before the aliens landed, Louise Banks reaction, and the increasingly complicated attempts at communication. If the first trailer has already sold you on Arrival then it would be best to skip this one entirely as it gives more of the movie away. If however you still need to be sold some more to make your decision then by all means give it a view.
