Warner Brothers has released new high-resolution images of there up coming movie Kong: Skull Island that shows off the movie’s stunning visual looks.
The images below along with the IMAX featurette gives us a look at what should be a spectacular re-imagining of the Kong mythology.
Kong himself was originally conceived and created by Merian C. Cooper an American filmmaker. In the original 1933 movie the inhabitants of “Skull Island” in the Indian Ocean gave Kong his name. Kong wasn’t the only large creature to live on the island, dinosaurs also roamed about.
Prior to the filming of Kong: Skull Island there has been seven other movies to feature the gigantic ape. The original 1933 film along with Peter Jackson’s 2005 movie are the two-standout movies.
Kong: Skull Island opens in theaters on March 10, 2017.
Cast: Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, John C. Reilly, Tian Jing, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, John Ortiz, Thomas Mann, Shea Whigham, Toby Kebbell, and Eugene Cordero.
