On Monday, Marvel unveiled a new theatrical trailer for Black Panther as we get more of what we can expect from the Ryan Coogler-directed movie.
Marvel’s first movie in 2018 will be Black Panther and after this second trailer it looks marvelous and has me extremely excited, not that I wasn’t already.
Featuring a cast that includes Danai Gurira, Angela Bassett, Michael B. Jordan, Martin Freeman, Andy Serkis and Forest Whitaker. I can’t say 100% that this will or won’t be one of the best casts assembled for a Marvel movie, but you must give Marvel credit for putting the best talent available for each and every movie.
One thing that I loved about the Black Panther trailer was showing us how high tech Wakanda really is and how a holographic shield is used to hide its true nature from other countries. Lets not forget the electric car the maglev monorail and Klaw’s sonic canon arm.
One of my favorite parts from Civil War was the character of Black Panther and the more I see of this movie the more I become excited to see it in theaters.
Check out the full length trailer as well as a new poster and some high-res images below.
Black Panther opens in theaters on February 16, 2018.
Cast: Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.
