On Wednesday Marvel released probably the most anticipated trailer to one of the most anticipated movies for 2018 and it does not disappoint.
Joe and Anthony Russo who directed the last two Captain America movies are the ones behind Marvel’s newest Avenger film, Infinity War. Ever since Infinity War went into production earlier this year very little information has been released other than a character poster of all of our heroes with Thanos in the middle during Comic Con.
Josh Brolin as Thanos looks amazing in the trailer and hopefully will be the greatest threat our heroes have ever faced and after years of building up to this moment I doubt Marvel has messed it up. The trailer showed us that Thanos has begun collecting the Infinity Stones and placing them in the Infinity Gauntlet.
I’m of the opinion that none of our heroes that we’ve come to love over the last ten years will meet their fate in this movie and I doubt that Thanos will have collected all of the Infinity Stones either. Most likely Thanos will be one short and that the movie will end with our heroes having earned a temporary victory knowing that most likely its not really over and Thanos will be back to finish what he begun.
Infinity War will begin to bring together all three phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as characters from the Guardians of the Galaxy are brought into the fold of Earth’s mightiest heroes, the Avengers. Very exciting.
Avengers: Infinity War will hit theaters on May 4, 2018
