The first trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom won’t be released until sometime Thursday evening, but Universal on Wednesday released a behind the scenes video to wet your appetite.
Universal’s behind-the-scenes video is over two and a half minutes in length and shows off the movies two main stars of the film Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. The featurette puts a heavy emphasis on all the dinosaurs we’ll be seeing and will feature plenty of practical, animatronic ones when Fallen Kingdom hits theaters.
Fallen Kingdon is set several years after the events of the previous movie and returns to Isla Nublar where a volcano threatens the lives of all the dinosaurs that are now roaming free where the former tourist park once was. Dinosaur trainer Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and previous park manager Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) have been tasked with preventing the second extinction of the Dinosaur.
In a recent interview, Bryce Dallas Howard talked a little about the plot of the movie, saying.
“Claire’s founded an organization, Dinosaur Protection Group, and they’re finding a way to get these dinosaurs off the island. She reaches out to Owen Grady to let him know this is happening. It’s complicated. When you see them at the beginning of this story, you get caught up as to what’s going on, but it’s not what you would necessarily expect.”
Fallen Kingdom will see the return of Jeff Goldblum as mathematician Dr. Ian Malcolm, Goldblum last appeared in “The Lost World” in 1997. The first trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdon will drop sometime during Thursday’s (tonights) primetime NFL game.
