Paramount Pictures and Skydance released the first full trailer for the next Mission: Impossible movie starring Tom Cruise in what looks like a highly charged, action packed high-octane sequel worthy of the name, Mission: Impossible.
Writer/director Christopher McQuarrie returns for a second time in the directors chair after the success of Rogue Nation, becoming the first director to helm two Mission: Impossible movies.
Mission: Impossible – Fallout finds Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt on the ropes, as the IMF’s past is coming back to haunt them. Joining the cast for this go around is Henry Cavill who from the looks of the trailer may or may not be on the side of Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt. We also have Michelle Monaghan’s character from Mission: Impossible 3 returning.
This is one of the few movie franchises that seem to get better the longer it continues, much like a fine wine. The injury Tom Cruise ankle injury he suffered during filming has extended production on the film and is not expected to wrap for about another month, but from the looks of this trailer you wouldn’t know it.
Mission: Impossible – Fallout hits theaters on July 27th.
Cast: Tom Cruise, Henry Cavill, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Sean Harris, Angela Bassett, Vanessa Kirby, Michelle Monaghan, Alec Baldwin, Wes Bentley, and Frederick Schmidt
