Sunday nights Super Bowl was the venue for several new trailers to drop and Universal took the opportunity to unveil the second trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom picks up four years after the events of Jurassic World. Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly who wrote Jurassic World returned to write Fallen Kingdom with J.A. Bayona stepping into the director’s chair.
Much like when the first trailer was released the second one does not give anything away as far as what’s at the heart of this movie. We were introduced to a new breed of dinosaur that was obviously created sometime after Jurassic World that has escaped and is seen terrorizing a little girl in her bedroom.
With Bayona in the directors chair he brings a certain darkness and tension to Fallen Kingdom that should play well in the scare factor, something we really haven’t felt in this franchise for sometime.
Cast: Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Justice Smith, Geraldine Chaplin, Daniella Pineda, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, BD Wong, and Jeff Goldblum
