On Thursday, 20th Century Fox released a new trailer for Deadpool 2 that will see Ryan Reynolds (Wade Wilson/Deadpool) take on Josh Brolin’s (Cable) a militaristic, time-travelling mutant cyborg.
The latest trailer for Deadpool 2 was released on Thursday morning and being that I have a normal job I don’t always get to post when I want or in a timely fashion. This latest trailer for the Merc with a mouth was everything one would expect for a Deadpool movie. From beginning to end this trailer was an absolute blast with the raunchiness, the humor and the action one would expect from a David Leitch directed movie.
We now have a better understanding why Cable has come back in time from the future, he is on the hunt for Hunt for a kid with mutant powers. Deadpool takes it upon himself to protect the kid, but he will need a little help in the form of the X-Force, heroes who are “tough, orally flexible, and able to carry their own franchise in 10-12 years.” Why Cable wants him dead will have to wait until May 18th, but one would presume it has something to do with the apocalyptic future Cable’s from.
Deadpool 2 is clearly setting up the X Force characters and that shouldn’t be to surprising especially since Fox has already announced an X-Force movie with both Reynolds and Brolin.
Deadpool 2 hits theaters on May 18th.
