Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Final Trailer

Universal on Wednesday released the final trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, revealing more of the plot to the highly anticipated sequel of Jurassic World.

Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard return to Isla Nublar with a new team in order to evacuate the dinosaurs due to an extinction-level event caused by an erupting volcano on the island.

Some are comparing this latest trailer for Fallen Kingdom looking to familiar like “The Lost World” the 1997 sequel to the original movie “Jurassic Park”. I will admit there are some similarities when you watch the trailer, but the comparisons are being made on a video that last two and a half minutes in length. We should wait and make that comparison after the movie comes out.

Colin Trevorrow who co-wrote Fallen Kingdom and directed the first Jurassic World movie recently spoke about the newest movie in the Jurassic Park franchise. Trevorrow talked about the early events that take place in the movie and the fall out that comes from that.

“You have this extinction-level event on that island, and the world is looking at these creatures that we created and asking, ‘Well, what is our right? Do we let them die because we created them and they shouldn’t be here in the first place, or do we have a responsibility to save them?”

Executive Producer Steven Spielberg talked about Fallen Kingdom’s director J.A. Bayona and how Bayona’s strength to create terror came into play for the the movies third act.

“It has a wonderfully, deliciously scary third act. J.A. knows how to create terror, but he also knows how to orchestrate it so you’re not brutalized by it, and he has the gift of restraint. But when he needs to open up the throttle, he really knows how.”
