Spider-Man Into The Spider Verse Trailer

Sony Pictures released a new trailer for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse featuring Miles Morales as a young African-American male who takes up the mantle of Spider-Man.

Written by Phil Lord, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse finds Miles Morales in a world where multiple Spider-Men exists. Miles Morales came to be Spider-Man back in 2011 in Ultimate Fallout #4, following the death of Peter Parker.

The powers of the Miles Morales Spider-Man are similar to those of Peter Parker’s Spider-Man. It was derived from the bite of a spider genetically engineered by Spider-Man’s nemesis Norman Osborn who was attempting to duplicate the abilities.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse comes to theaters on December 14th.
