With the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story on Digital HD, Disney and Lucasfilm have released some concept art of Han, Chewie and everyone’s favorite the Millennium Falcon.
If you saw Solo in theaters then you know this movie is not just about Han and how he acquired the Millennium Falcon. Solo shows us how Han and Chewbacca meet for the very first time and how the two were able to create a bond that would lead to a life long friendship.
Some of the artist drawings include some recognizable scenes from the movie, that include Han and Chewbacca trying to escape the Empire on Mimban and Donald Glover’s Lando with a much different hairstyle then what we saw on screen.
Of course we can’t forget some of my favorite concept art featured below and that’s the Millennium Falcon. When the first trailer for Solo was released I wasn’t sure how I felt about a nice shiny well-polished Millennium Falcon. From the very first shot of the Falcon in a New Hope all the way up to The Last Jedi I had become accustomed to a certain look, but after watching Solo in theaters I had a better understanding as to why they made the choices they did and a better appreciation of the Falcon’s look that I was introduced to as a child in 1977.
Solo: A Star Wars Story Blu-ray 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD release on September 25th!
