Universal has released a set of new character posters for the upcoming ninth movie in the Fast and Furious franchise with the first trailer dropping later this week.

Eight films and one spin-off (Hobbs and Shaw) later the Fast and Furious franchise is without a doubt a box office juggernaut. On Tuesday Universal released the first official poster and today they released eight character posters to get everyone hyped and excited for the first trailer scheduled to drop this coming Friday (January 31,2020).

Justin Lin who directed The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006), Fast Five (2011), and Fast & Furious 6 (2013) returns to the franchise. F9 will see the debut of John Cena to the franchise now that Dwayne Johnson’s character of Hobbs enjoyed huge success last summer with Jason Statham (Shaw) in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.

Officially titled F9: The Fast Saga races into theaters on May 22, 2020
