NEW Looney Tunes Cartoons Coming to HBO MAX

If you are a fan of the old Looney Tunes animated shorts then you’re in for a treat when HBO Max streaming service launches in late May.

HBO Max, from AT&T’s Warner Media, launches on May 27th and will offer a wide variety of hit shows and movies along with original content. At launch HBO Max’s kids and family programming will include new Warner Bros Animation-produced Looney Tunes cartoons based on the iconic animated shorts.

As a kid I grew up watching Looney Tunes on television, Bugs Bunny being my obvious favorite. As an adult the kid in me has never left when it comes to Looney Tunes and never will to be honest. The all-new series from Warner Bros Animation will include 80 eleven-minute episodes, featuring all your favorite characters with the same production value as the original theatrical shorts.

If you’re a fan of the original Looney Tunes / Merrie Melodies, all 250 animated shorts that were produced from 1930 to 1969 will be available at launch. Also Hanna-Barbara classics including the full catalog of The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Scooby Doo, Yogi Bear, plus Popeye will also be on the platform.

You can check out the trailer that was released earlier this week for the new Looney Tunes cartoons below. HBO Max Streaming service will launch on May 27, 2020.
