New ‘Army of the Dead’ Character Posters Released

Netflix on Thursday released a platoon size batch of character posters for Zack Snyder’s zombie movie Army of the Dead.

When Army of the Dead makes its debut on Netflix May 21st, it will be Snyder’s first movie since Sucker Punch not connected or related to Warner Bros. DCEU. This will not be Snyder’s first movie involving zombies, 2004’s Dawn of the Dead remake was Snyder’s directorial debut earning $102 million worldwide on a $26 million budget.

Netflix is going all in on “dead”, for give the humor, with Army of the Dead. A prequel, Army of Thieves finished filming this past December (2020) and an anime-style spinoff series Lost Vegas in the works.
