Ghostbusters: Afterlife, the highly anticipated sequel will finally hit theaters this November as a new trailer gets us ready to trap some ghost.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife is a direct sequel to the original two movies 1984’s Ghostbusters and 1989’s Ghostbusters II, the movie follows a mom and her two kids who move to Oklahoma, where the kids discover their grandfather was a Ghostbuster along with Egon’s (their grandfather) tech and take the Ecto-1 out for a spin.
Originally the movie was scheduled to hit theaters in July of 2020 but was moved to March of 2021 and then again to June of 2021 before being moved one last time to November 11th where fans will finally get the chance see the movie in theaters.
While the original Ghostbusters don’t appear in person, they do give us some older footage of Egon, Ray, Peter and Winston. Annie Potts does manage to make an appearance as Janine Melnitz and at the end of the trailer, we hear a familiar voice answer the phone.
Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts will be reprising their original roles when Ghostbusters: Afterlife hits theaters on November 11, 2021.
