Spider-Man: No Way Home – Teaser Trailer

Sony Pictures released its first teaser trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home and it looks to be an epic journey into the multiverse.

No Way Home sees the return of Tom Holland, Jacob Batalon’s, and Zendaya after the events of “Far From Home” that forever changed Peter’s world. Benedict Cumberbatch returns as Doctor Strange, who helps Peter in dealing with the consequence of his secret identity being made public, what could go wrong? Right?

Its no secret that No Way Home has plenty of questions that fans will be looking to have answered. Of course, there’s J.K. Simmons exposing Peter as Spider-Man and for the murderer of Mysterio, which Doctor Strange may or may not help with, but there is also the elephant in the room that is on everyone’s mind.

If this was Jeopardy, this would without a doubt be a question for Final Jeopardy, will Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield reprise their individual roles of Peter Parker/Spider-Man? For over a year now they have both been rumored to be returning in “No Way Home” and for a year, fans have had this back and forth of will they or won’t they return. If they are returning do, we need or want conformation, even if it’s a quick glimpse in a future trailer or would we rather be surprised when the movie is released. The thought of both returning has fans excited, but it is also possible they don’t return and if that happens will fans be okay with that?

The teaser did show the return of Alfred Molina confirming that he will be reprising his role as Doc Ock from the Sam Raimi trilogy. Speaking of villains, we should also be getting the return of Jamie Foxx as Electro and if you paid attention to the trailer, it looks as if Willem Dafoe aka Green Goblin is also coming back.

Spider-Man: No Way Home hits theaters on December 17.
