Marvel Drops First Trailer For “Hawkeye”

Marvel has released the first trailer for their latest MCU series “Hawkeye” as Clint Barton’s extraordinary ability to shoot arrows is coming to Disney Plus.

Hawkeye comes to Disney Plus in between the theatrical releases of the Eternals and Spider-Man: No Way Home. The series is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame that saw Clint go on a murder spree after his family vanished during the Blip and watch Natasha (Scarlett Johansson) sacrifice herself in order to obtain the Soul Stone.

The trailer shows the series will be taking place around the Christmas holidays as Clint tries to make it home in time all while facing his past as Ronin. Of course, we can’t forget to mention the elephant in the room the “Captain America” musical that the trailer gave us a brief glimpse of and in some ways, I’m hoping we get to see more of during the series.

Hawkeye will also introduce us to the second person to take up the mantle of Hawkeye, Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld). The series will also feature Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James, and Alaqua Cox. Florence Pugh will reprise her role as Yelena Belova from Black Widow.

Hawkeye is set to premiere on Disney Plus on November 24th, you can check out the trailer and poster below.

Disney Plus and Marvel Studios invite you on an unexpected holiday getaway, unwrapping a brand-new teaser trailer and poster today for “Hawkeye,” a new series set in post-blip New York City. Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.
